Class IV Maths Activity- Weight

Weights around Us activity was conducted in class IV- A to enrich students with the knowledge about various objects that can be weighed and different units of weight .Students made a collage by categorising the cut outs/pictures and wrappers of the objects that can be weighed in milligrams, grams and kilograms.
Through this activity they were able to differentiate between light objects and heavy objects.

Run for Fun - Multiple Skill Interhouse Activity

Students of classes V-A participated in the October month activity based on assessing the multiple intelligence.The students were divided according to their houses, one child from each house participated in six different rounds.

The activity started with testing the knowledge of the students through 5 questions i.e one each from maths, science, English, current affairs and social science. Students solved any one question out of the five and ran ahead by performing a kinesthetic activity to collect the token from the table . Similarly , students attempted 5 questions and collected 5 tokens i.e one for each question. Thus , the activity was a success in assessing the kinesthetic, scientific , logical skills and general knowledge.

Class VI Activity-Angle Sum Property

The activity was conducted in class VI -A Primus to introduce the concept of Angle sum property of triangle. Students were asked to make a triangle and cut out  the three vertices of a triangle and paste them together. They concluded the three angles were forming a straight angle of 180 degree. 

Class 6 - Types of Triangles Activity

The activity was conducted in class VI -A Primus . Students were asked to cut out triangles of any measurement. Later they were asked to categorise them on the basis of the sides and angles. 

They pasted the different types of triangles in collage.

Spectrum 2017-Minute to Finish

Ayushman Kaushik and Pranay Mittal of Class V-A Primus secured III position in 'Minute To Finish' a logical puzzle in Spectrum 2017 an  Interschool Competition organised by DAV Pushpanjali Enclave on 2 Ausust 2017.
