Go shopping - Class III Maths Activity

Go Shopping activity was conducted in class III A to enrich the concept of addition by rounding off. A market setup was created where some objects were displayed by the shopkeepers along with the price tag. students enacted as the customers and bought two items out of them. They were asked to estimate the amount to be paid by adding mentally the two prices. Students enjoyed this play way method of learning.

Interhouse activity- Reasons to Smile

Students of class IV A enthusiastically participated in an Inter-house activity conducted on 25 April 2019 . The theme of the activity was sharing their Reasons to smile.

Judgement was done on the basis of fluency, content and confidence. The judge for the event,Ms. Radhika Bajaj was impressed with the students confidence and preparation.One student from each house was awarded with the certificate. All the students shared their reasons to smile which included spending time with parents , eating delicious food cooked by their mothers, playing with friends and siblings , dancing and singing , giving gifts and enjoying at home with family etc.
