Class IV - Translation

 Concept of translation was explained through a video followed by an activity. Students were asked to stand on a grid and move from one box to another. They were asked to describe translation on a grid . 

Dussehra celebration

Dussehra was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal by the students of Cambridge international on 18 October 2023. Students of class I dressed up as characters of Ramayana and depicted their roles well. Several manuscripts of Ramayana were displayed and discussed. 

 

Class 3 - Division

  Concept of division was introduced through video in class 3 . 

Class V multiplying fractions

Students of class V was shown video on multiplication and division of fraction with whole number to build up the concept . Then the students were called out to solve few questions.

 

Class IV Equivalent fractions video watch

 A video was shown in class IV for better understanding of the concept of equivalent fractions and finding equivalent fraction of a fraction. 

Quack quack multiples game Class 3

Quack quack activity of multiples of 7 was conducted in class III to enrich the concept of multiples . Each student was to speak aloud consecutive whole number turn wise , the student was suppose to do quack quack instead of saying multiple of 7 . For eg 1,2,3,4,5,6, quack quack

 

Prime numbers activity

 Students of class 4 identified all the prime and composite numbers between 1 and 100. Students crossed out all numbers that aren’t prime(composite). Then, they will circles all remaining numbers to show all the prime numbers. 

This activity focuses on the divisibility of a number to determine if it is prime or composite. A Video was also  used for the same.
