Christmas celebrations 2024

Christmas was celebrated by class III A students on 24 December 2024 .Students decorated the classroom with colourful streamers, balloons, and a beautiful Christmas tree. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and cheer.The students sang beautiful Christmas carols, filling the air with joy and festivity.Class teachers shared a heartwarming Christmas message, reminding us of the importance of love, kindness, and generosity.The Christmas celebration in the class was a wonderful experience. All learned the true spirit of Christmas, made new memories, and had a blast with each other.

National Mathematics Day Celebration

National Maths Day is celebrated on 22nd December every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. DAVPS Pushpanjali Enclave , Cambridge celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal, aiming to promote mathematical awareness and appreciation among students.

To pay tribute to Srinivasa Ramanujan a series of engaging events and activities were organised gor class PS- VIII.

Students showcased innovative maths kits and projects, demonstrating various mathematical concepts and principles.

They participated in exciting maths games and puzzles, promoting logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The National Maths Day celebrations was a resounding success, fostering a love for mathematics among students and promoting a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. The school looks forward to organising more such events and activities to nurture the mathematical talents of students.

National Mathematics Day- December 22

 The National Mathematics Day in India is celebrated annually on December 22 on the birth anniversary of legendary mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan. In 2012, the then Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, designated Ramanujan's birth anniversary to be celebrated as National Mathematics Day in a bid to honour and cherish his contribution to the field of mathematics.

Besides remembering him, the day also reflects on the significance of the subject in our daily lives. The inception of mathematics has not only brought about advancements in accounting and finance but also made equal contributions to technological advancements, scientific discoveries, and economics.
