Buddha Poornima

 The auspicious festival of Buddha Purnima marks the birth of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who became the Gautama Buddha and founded Buddhism. The sacred festival is also known as Buddha's birthday, Buddha Day or Buddha Jayanti. Primarily a Buddhist festival, the day is celebrated in most of South, Southeast and East Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Thailand, Tibet, China, Korea, Laos, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and more. It is observed on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Vaisakha, which falls in April or May. Buddhists celebrate the day with great devotion and joy, participating in various religious ceremonies and rituals.

Class III Geoboard Activity

Geoboards are a fantastic resource for teaching geometry to Class 3 students. The activities outlined not only make learning fun but also help students build a strong foundation in geometric concepts.

students were provided with a geoboard and rubber bands. They were asked to create shapes such as triangles, squares, and rectangles. Discuss the properties of each shape, such as the number of sides and corners.

Art and craft club - Mother’s day card making

 The Mother's Day card making in the art and craft school club was a meaningful and enriching experience for all participants. Students folded an A-4 sheet into a fan and then pasted a flower cut out in the centre. They wrote a message for their mothers in it and rolled up a newspaper to make its stem . Through creative expression and heartfelt gestures, students celebrated the love and gratitude they have for their mothers while honing their artistic talents.
