Happy Summer holidays

Month of May brought long, hot days,             
And now we have our summer holidays

Summer holidays mean no to school,
Waking up late with no set rule.

Little home work, easy to be done,
Lesser studies and lot's of fun.
   
Playing and talking and watching cartoon,
Fun continues till the end of June.

Beautiful time comes once in a year,
Summer holidays are best days ever.

Interhouse speech Competition -Value of family in my life

An interhouse Speech Competition was conducted in class IV -A Primus on 16 May ,2018 .To celebrate International Day of Families  ,the topic for the speech  was "Value of family in my life" . All the students participated actively and enthusiastically .The judgement was done by one of the parent of class III Primus.

International Day of Families

International Day of Families is celebrated every year in India to raise awareness on various family issues and to acknowledge the importance of families. The day is observed by various organizations of the country where the members of the organization as well as their family members take part in different events. Different companies organize the day every year to familiarize the families of their employees with the functioning of the company and to introduce them to the remaining staff. Many organizations set up a photo booth with cut pieces of house and car for families to enjoy clicking pictures together. Several games are held for adults as well as for children to relish the day with their families. For entertaining the families, there are live performances on music, dance etc. Guests are also gifted photo frames at the end of the event for sticking their family photographs and sharing their bonds.

Some families also celebrate the day by spending time together, cooking great dishes, watching movies and in several other ways.

Theme of International Day of Families 2018 is : “Families and inclusive societies”.

Students of class IV A enthusiastically made crowns for their mothers' to make them feel special and thank them for everything.

Class III Activity- Happy subtracting

Happy subtracting - Students of class III participated in the maths activity where they were asked to divide themselves according to odd and even roll numbers.Then they were asked to stand in ascending order .Then each participant was asked to subtract numbers orally and run towards end line by crossing the hurdles. The activity was conducted on the terrace to enrich kinaesthetic skills and  develop mental calculations.
