Visit to WWF-India Carnival

WWF- India organised a two day carnival to create awareness about extinct creatures and ways to protect them. Students  of class IV-A Cambridge International, DAVPS Pushpanjali Enclave got an opportunity to participate in various activities conducted by WWF at Lodhi Estate on 20 th November. Students were given tic-tac-toe puzzle to solve, Ludo and snakes and ladder , all the games focussed on one or the other environmental issues. Students were asked questions related to wildlife and protection.They expressed their ideas on environmental sensitivity through paintings. Students enjoyed interactive games and exhibition on turtles.

Guru Nanak Jayanti wishes

Guru Nanak Jayanti is one of the most auspicious festivals celebrated by the Sikh community. It's the birth date of Guru Nanak, who was the founder of Sikhism. The festival is celebrated annually and this year, it is being celebrated on 12th November. The festival is celebrated for three days. Two days before the occasion, the Guru Granth Sahib is read continuously for 48 hours. Gurudwaras all over the world prepare langar, which is prepared and offered by the volunteers and devotees.

October month interhouse activity

October month inter house activity-Science Quizzing was conducted on 31 October 2019 in class IV -A Cambridge International. All the students actively participated in their groups which were divided according to the 5 houses . There were 6 rounds in all with 4 rounds having 2 questions for each team. Through the quiz students recapitulated the curriculum of science and their knowledge was tested.
