Line of symmetry activity was conducted in class IV A Primus. Students were given cut outs of triangles, they were asked to classify the type of triangle by measuring the sides of the triangle.
Then they folded the triangles from the three vertices to obtain the lines of symmetry in their triangles.
They concluded a scalene triangle has no line of symmetry , an isosceles triangle has one line of symmetry and an equilateral triangle has three lines of symmetry .
