74th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Cambridge International DAVPS, Pushpanjali Enclave by the students of Class III to VIII . The ceremony started at 4:00 PM on Gmeet on 13th August,2020 which was streamed live on youtube (Cambint youtube channel ) which was viewed by students and parents of other classes.
To begin the celebration a video of hoisting of flag by our Principal ma'am was shared on screen. Then Principal ma'am addressed the participants, parents ,teachers and hosts for the event.The guest hosts were Ms Shalini and Dr Madhu Minocha ,parent of Chaitanya Gupta and Muskaan of class VIII A respectively.
The event started by opening speech by the two talented kids Vivaan Gupta(Class IV A) and Jayant Prakash Gupta (Class III A).
Students brilliantly performed dance on patriotic songs , melodiously sang patriotic songs, recited poems on India's Independence Day and shared amazing facts about India and freedom fighters.
The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Ms Shalini ,parent of Chaitanya of class VIII.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
