Laddoo is all time favourite sweet of all of us. It's an integral sweet of our indian culture. Today in health and nutrition club, we made COCONUT LADDOOs. Students were allotted one ingredient per class. Following ingredients were used- Grated/desiccated coconut, khoya, finely diced dry fruits, shakkar/khaand/jaggery. Through a collaborative effort, students made coconut laddoo. Small portion of ladoo dough was given to students to give them a shape of their choice. To maintain nutrition level, instead of sugar we used shakkar/khaand or jaggery. It helps to maintain our blood pressure and purifies our blood. Laddoo were delicious and students presented them in different forms such as modak, kaju roll, snow man, barfi etc.
