Students of class III-V visited The National Philatelic Museum as part of educational trip on 28 July 2023.The museum is a unique initiative by the Indian Government Postal Service to showcase the rich postal heritage of the country and promote this interesting hobby among kids and adults alike. Indian Post has been a pillar of the way we used to communicate. Before computers, the internet and mobile phones came into existence, the post was the only way to communicate with far living relatives. Keeping this in mind a Stamp making competition was organised by them , where the students were asked to design a stamp on the theme “festivals”.
The students were amazed to see a massive collection of Indian stamps of different decades and post independence era of India. Its a best place for History lovers get a chance to see the history printed on paper.
