Maths activity-Stage V

An activity " You've got Triangles "was conducted in class IV A Cambridge International to recall types of triangle based on sides and angles . The students worked in pair to create a triangle and describe its properties. Some students creatively made a triangle using three pencils of different length , some used two pencils of same length to make an Isosceles triangle and some used three similar sized sketch pens to show an equilateral triangle.They were able to depict the types of interior angles like an obtuse angle ,right angle or acute angle in each of the triangle. This hands on activity helped the students to visualise the types of triangle and know the properties.
